How do I look after my slime?
Always play with clean, dry hands on a clean surface. When you're finished, return your slime to its container and close the lid tightly. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Is slime edible?
No. Slime may look and smell delicious, but it is not edible and should never be eaten. Wash your hands before and after playing with slime and keep slime away from pets.
What do I do if my slime gets sticky?
A sticky slime doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. Slime can naturally become softer or stickier over time, particularly in warm weather.
Add a small amount of activator and knead the slime thoroughly. Test the texture before adding more — too much activator can make your slime stiff.
Important: Different slime textures react differently to activator, so always start with a very small amount.
Why has my slime become hard?
Slime can become firm if too much activator has been added. This is often called over-activated slime.
Don't add more activator. Leave the slime sealed in its container and give it some time to soften naturally.
Slime can also become harder when it loses moisture through repeated play or being left uncovered, which is why keeping the container tightly closed is important.
How long does slime last?
Slime doesn't have a fixed lifespan. How long it lasts depends on its texture, how frequently it's played with, how it's handled and how it's stored.
To help your slime last as long as possible:
Play with clean hands on a clean surface.
Keep it away from dirt, fabric and other debris.
Return it to its container after playing.
Always close the lid tightly.
Store it somewhere cool and dry.
Use Sticky-Stop Drops sparingly if an appropriate slime becomes sticky.
Why does my slime feel different from when I first opened it?
Slime is handmade and its texture can naturally change over time. Temperature, repeated play, moisture loss and storage can all affect how a slime feels.
A slime that's warm may feel softer or stickier, while a cold slime may feel firmer. Allow it to return to room temperature before deciding whether it needs adjusting.
